MicroNanoSpain (MNS), represented by the SPANISH SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (AESEMI), acts as the data controller and, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), guarantees the security and confidentiality of the personal data provided by users.

Personal Data We Collect
Depending on how you interact with the website, we may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, organisation and professional position when you submit a contact form, register on the Hub platform or subscribe to our newsletter.
- Professional information: area of expertise, services offered and institutional affiliation when you register as a service provider on the Hub platform.

Data Retention
We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and, in any event, for the period required by applicable legal obligations. In particular:
- Enquiries submitted through contact forms: retained for the time necessary to handle the request, plus any additional period required by law.
- Registrations on the Hub platform: retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request its deletion at any time.
- Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe.
- Event and training data: retained for the project reporting and justification period established in the Grant Agreement, for up to five years after the final payment.
Data Recipients
Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except where necessary for the provision of services, for example to platform hosting providers or event management tools; where there is a legal obligation; or where the data must be shared with members of the MicroNanoSpain consortium for the purposes described above.
Where we engage service providers acting as data processors, we will ensure that appropriate contractual safeguards are in place in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.
International Transfers
As a general rule, your personal data will be processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where a transfer outside the EEA is necessary, for example due to the use of certain technology providers, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are applied, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
